News . . .
The progress continues
-- The Center is now an official NY non-profit organization! The
next step is to file the forms to attain IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit
charitable organization status. We are very excited and thankful to
those that have helped and believed in us.
In March, Cheyenne came
to live at the Center. She will be one of the EAL horses because of
her pleasant attitude and love of people. 6 new horses are arriving
soon and 2 more are schedule to arrive in May. Look for more info
coming soon on the horse pages. |

Are you an animal
lover? At Destiny Equine Center:R3, we love and respect
animals...especially horses! It is so sad to see once beautiful
equines in run-down, emaciated condition, in need of health, hoof
and the daily care they require. In many cases, horses are rescued
simply because their owners are unknowing of their charge's needs.
DEC:R3 strives to educate and bring to public awareness
the situations that lead to neglect and inadequate
care. The
directors at DEC:R3 have a collective
experience of over 50 years working closely with horses and other
animals. Federal and AAEP
Rescue Guidelines are followed to ensure the health and comfort of
DEC:R3 animals.
We would like to invite you to join
us in caring for these loving animals in any way that you find
convenient -- volunteer, foster and adoption programs are available.
And, of course, donations of needed items and funding are always
welcome!
Visit the website often. There will
be events, new needs and projects as we continue to expand and move
forward to provide improved care and expanded facilities to offer
the best possible home for unwanted and rescued animals. |
